Salary

The selected candidates for Agniveer posts will receive a starting monthly pay of Rs. 30,000/- along with applicable allowances as per Indian Army norms. The salary structure under the Agnipath scheme also includes annual increments and benefits as prescribed by the government.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 17.5 to 21 years of age. Candidates should be born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive). Age relaxation, if applicable, will be provided as per government rules.

Indian Army has released the official notification for Indian Army Recruitment 2026 inviting online applications for 70 Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) Officer posts under NCC Special Entry Scheme 124th Course (October 2026). This is a direct entry opportunity for graduates holding NCC ‘C’ Certificate to join the Armed Forces as Commissioned Officers without appearing for a written examination. The recruitment includes 63 vacancies for NCC Men (General Category) and 07 vacancies for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet post-wise educational and skill requirements. Lower Division Clerk requires 12th pass qualification with a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. Civilian Motor Driver candidates must be matriculation pass with a valid heavy vehicle driving licence and minimum two years of driving experience. Vehicle Mechanic and Machinist posts require ITI certificates in the respective trades or eligibility as Ex-Servicemen of appropriate Grade-I trade.

Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-2 with pay scale ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with applicable allowances.

Age Limit

The age limit is 18 to 25 years for all posts except Civilian Motor Driver, for which the age limit is 18 to 27 years as on the closing date. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Salary

Age Limit

The age limit for Indian Army LDC Recruitment 2026 is 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.   1. 10 + 2 Entries – Technical Entry Scheme

This scheme allows you to join the Indian Army after clearing 12th through the science stream. Under the scheme, you can join the Army on the rank of Lieutenant through Indian Army recruitment. However, only male candidates can get an entry under the scheme. The selection of this scheme is done using the SSB interview and has an age limit of 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

  1. University Entry Scheme

  1. JAG – Judge Advocate General
